Emma - Cambridge

Pictured here is Emmanuel College at Cambridge, established in 1584. The college is known locally as “Emma.” There were so many little beautiful vignettes like this in Cambridge, enough to keep a photographer busy for ages. It was also cool to later discover that the chapel directly opposite in this photo was designed by Sir Christopher Wren, famed English architect of the 17th century.

Aside from the beautiful architecture, my favorite elements of this scene are the wonderfully moody sky and the placid and well manicured lawn. You can tell this takes a lot of upkeep as the landscaper's tools are visible. Emma would be a beautiful campus to attend, no doubt.
