Punting on the Cam - Cambridge
Truly a highlight of my day in Cambridge was punting on the Cam. Seeing what the locals refer to as The Backs - the portions of the colleges that face the River Cam was an awesome way to end my day there.
I believe the building pictured here may be part of Kings College, but would love if someone can identify it for me! Whatever college it belongs to, it's a gorgeous piece of architecture overlooking the Cam. As my group floated by, this duck came to see us in our boat (likely he was looking to be fed).
To me, this photo is really the epitome of a lazy punt on the River Cam. There's beautiful old buildings, no doubt ripe with history, a gorgeous sky and languid waters. I would do this constantly, I think, if I lived in Cambridge.
