The photos in this gallery are from the Maya ruins found around the Yucatan. Even after seeing more ruins around Mexico, including more Maya ruins, the ruins in the modern day Yucatan state remain my favorites. All of these sites were seen while staying in Mérida, which is a great staging ground, but each brush with the Maya make me more interested in spreading my wings and seeing more of their ruins.
I believe the photos in this gallery, which are mainly from Chichen Itza but include the Puuc Hills sites of Uxmal and Kabah, speak volumes about the artistic creativity and ingenuity of the Maya. There's truly something about these detail heavy structures that even after having weathered heavily speak to me on a visceral level. If you've been to these sites - many of which are UNESCO listed World Heritage sites - I have no doubt you have that same feeling of awe.
I've been working to pare down my print galleries to make them more accessible, so it's entirely possible you've seen other photos from the Mayan ruins in the Yucatan that are not here right now or you may be interested in a companion piece for something you do see here? If so, don't hesitate to
contact me and I can make more prints available on your request.
Similarly, if there's a customization in format that would make a print here fit your needs such as sizing to fit a particular frame or other application, etc., please
contact me with details. I am always willing to work with you where possible to get a piece of art that best suits you.
