This eye-catching picture is from near London's Embankment tube station. I have a real fondness myself for these iconic British Telephone Boxes. The are incredibly iconic, so much so that they have spread over the world.

I was waiting for a walking tour of London to start when I looked along the sidewalk and saw this red phone booth. I loved the way the sidewalk, the trees, and even the pattern on the wall all seemed to lead your eyes towards the booth.

I took this photo a step further, employing a selective color treatment was used to really make the phone booth’s original bright red pop against the high contrast background that was converted to Black and White. This can be over-used easily but I think it really works here. And this is easily the most popular photo I offer as a print.
