Sunset over water often looks beautiful, but there's something truly magical about sunset over the Nile River as pictured here. After all, the Nile is the cradle of one of our oldest civilizations.

As we headed back to the boat for our second night, I spotted the sun setting and had to take a few minutes to really soak in the moment, both personally and with my camera. The result seen here I think is truly timeless due to the sailboat, a traditional felucca, a style of boat that's been sailing on the Nile long before it became a popular cruise amongst tourists. Looking at this print today, I feel as if I could step back into that moment and I hope that feeling translates for the viewer as well as it's truly amongst the highlights of my life and travels.
