For me, the division between city and town or rural is ineffable, but basically it boils down to, if it's a city, it ain't Mayberry.

The pictures in this gallery are scenes from around America's cities. Mostly mid sized and larger cities, but the driving force is that these photos are about capturing the architecture of the cities, buildings, bridges, structures that create and define American cities.

These photos are from a variety of cities such as Chicago, Augusta, Asheville, and Savannah . The prints in this gallery are also part of a larger body of work that's grown and become spread into smaller galleries when I have enough photos of a given city to warrant splitting it you.
